The MomCo (The Mom Community) is a Christian-based organization that encourages and supports mothers by providing opportunities for friendship, conversation, and growth in faith and parenting. American Heritage Girls Troop 1517

American Heritage Girls (AHG) was founded by a group of parents wanting a faith-based, scout-type character development program for their daughters in 1995. The AHG Program is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. AHG girls across the nation and the globe participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement.

All men of the congregation are warmly invited to join us, along with men from the community, in Cruising with the King Car Club. Women's Bible Study

Christianity was never intended to be a spectator sport. To this end, group Bible study is invaluable. We are meant to be relational; first, on a vertical axis between ourselves and God and, second, on a horizontal axis between ourselves and those around us. Life Team

Speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) is easier said than done. We live in a time when abortion is called a “right” and a “choice,” when assisted suicide is called “compassion,” when sex outside of marriage is called “natural” and “safe.” It is a time when gender ideology insists the genders are interchangeable and misgendering someone is called “hate speech.” Our intent is to counter these lies in love with the truth of God’s Word.

The MomCo leadership crew is currently inviting Moms in our communities to join us in the Fall. Our Meetups are scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. Membership Fee $37. Limited free scholarships are available. We’ll offer moms in our community a welcoming space for fellowship, scripture discussion, and connections with other moms as we enjoy friendships, fun, and food. Mission Workshop

Here at Good Shepherd. We are not promised a silver bullet nor easy answers. We will have an opportunity to gather with fellow missionaries who are willing and eager to learn from each other on how to more effectively engage the culture. The keynote speaker is Southern District (LCMS) President Eric Johnson. We have invited other LCMS congregations in our area to participate in this workshop.
