Salute to 1776
An evening of music celebrating America's heritage through a blend of patriotic favorites, classical masterworks, and beloved storytelling. Presented by the Emerald Coast Chamber Players under the direction of David Ott, with narration by Ruth Hill, the program features stirring selections such as The Star-Spangled Banner, Ragged Flag, America the Beautiful, and God Bless America, alongside Mozart's brilliant Symphony No. 29 in A Major. Families will also enjoy David Ott's whimsical musical retelling of Alice in Wonderland. The evening begins with a community hymn sing and concludes with a reception, offering an inspiring celebration of faith, freedom, and the enduring power of music for audiences of all ages.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. - Matthew 11:29-30
Welcome. We come together to worship the Triune God, not as perfect people, but as redeemed sinners. Along the way, you might meet people who are difficult or hurting. Some are wandering, searching for direction. Point them to the cross, for Jesus is the Way. Some are trapped by lies, mistaking them for truth. Remind them that Jesus is the Truth. Some have no life and do not realize it. Show them that Jesus is the Life.
