The Altar Guild is meeting to address and coordinate some housekeeping issues in regards to the changes in Communion practice.
The Altar Guild duties include preparing for Communion, hanging of Sanctuary banners, ensuring the altar paraments match the liturgical season, and refilling of candles. They are also responsible for washing the used linens and disposing of leftover communion elements according to tradition.
